Created type illustrating the historically industrious Lancashire which is known for their cotton mills. I painted "Jiggered"- a Lancashire slang for tired- on cotton and contorted it relating to the pulling mechanism of the cotton weaving looms. I then created a frame mimicking the weaving looms, and placed my font within its frames, so those who interact with it can stretch the cotton and font, symbolising the workers being stretched to their limit.
