DOODLE PREDICTOR
A neural network that identifies the tutor from your doodle
I played tutor pictionary with a neural network.
In collaboration with Jonathan Xue, we used machine learning to identify my tutors from doodles of them. The model trains on datasets of doodles of the tutors drawn by their students.
It started off as a fun play on translation, and pictionary. I wanted to see how machines could objectively identify drawings which can be quite subjective. It was interesting to see how accurate or badly the predictions were, questioning what patterns the machine was picking up, or, what traits makes one unique or identifiable?
